Col. Jeet Bahadur Launches Solo Motorcycle Expedition for Unity in Himachal Pradesh

A Journey of Unity Across Himachal Pradesh


Col. Jeet Bahadur, who serves as a Member and Vice-President of the War Memorial Development Society, has embarked on an inspiring Solo Motorcycle Unity Expedition that will traverse all districts of Himachal Pradesh. This journey commenced today and is set to conclude on April 15, coinciding with Himachal Day.


Throughout this expedition, Col. Bahadur plans to gather soil from each district, which will be utilized to plant 12 Unity Trees at the War Memorial located in Dharamshala. This initiative aims to establish a unique grove named “Ekta Upvan”, symbolizing the strength and unity of the Himachal community.


The expedition was officially launched by Col. Jai Ganesh, the Senior Vice-President of the War Memorial Development Society, who was accompanied by members of the Governing Council and other society affiliates. They expressed their best wishes and support for Col. Bahadur as he undertakes this extraordinary mission.


During the event, Prof. Kuldeep Banta, the Press Secretary of the Society, emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating that the Unity Trees will serve as a permanent homage to the shared identity and pride of the people of Himachal Pradesh.
