Cockerroach Party Founder Challenges PM Modi to Disclose Educational Credentials

In a bold statement, Abhijit Deepke, founder of the Cockroach People’s Party, has challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to publicly disclose his educational credentials. Deepke, who studied in the U.S. with the help of scholarships and loans, is ready to share his documents if Modi does the same. Deepke also expressed concerns about the public's disillusionment with politics, emphasizing the need for integrity in governance. Abhijit Deepke's Bold Challenge

On August 3rd, in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Abhijit Deepke, the founder of the Cockroach People’s Party (CAZPA), made a provocative statement suggesting that if Prime Minister Narendra Modi reveals his degree, he too would be willing to disclose documents related to his scholarships and education loans from his studies in the United States. This remark comes in the wake of a Right to Information (RTI) activist from Surat seeking to investigate the financial arrangements made by Deepke's father, a retired government employee, to send him abroad for education.

Speaking to reporters, Deepke expressed, "I am ready to show my scholarship and education loan documents. Will Prime Minister Modi display his degree?" He mentioned that he studied in the U.S. with the help of a scholarship and education loan from Boston University, where he completed his postgraduate degree in Public Relations from the College of Communication and returned to India in June.

Deepke stated, "I received a scholarship from Boston University for my studies, and I also took an education loan that I need to repay. Anyone can verify this." He reiterated his willingness to present his scholarship and loan documents, urging PM Modi to make his degree public as well. He added, "If he does so, I will also disclose all my documents."

Deepke accused the government of using the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) against anyone who speaks out against it. He said, "They can come to my house for an investigation; I have no objections. I am ready to show my documents, but if the Prime Minister is sending the ED, he should also make his degree public. My degree is genuine, and I hope his is too."

When asked if CAZPA would evolve into a political party, Deepke responded that he believes the media is disillusioned with existing political parties. He clarified, "We currently have no intention of forming a political party; we want to maintain this as a people's movement. What can we achieve by becoming a political party when votes are being stolen? People are losing faith in politics because they vote for one party in the morning, and by evening, a different government is in place."

Deepke further noted that MPs and MLAs frequently switch parties.
