A sudden cloudburst in the Kalah Nallah area of Holi, located in the Bharmour Assembly constituency, caused alarm on Monday as water levels surged unexpectedly. Three workers who were near the stream found themselves trapped by the swift current.
Local residents reported that the water rose dramatically following the cloudburst, leading to a chaotic situation. Concerned neighbors quickly gathered at the scene to monitor the safety of the trapped workers.
Fortunately, as the water levels began to drop, all three workers were able to escape unharmed. The community breathed a sigh of relief as no injuries or fatalities were reported.
Authorities have advised the public to refrain from unnecessary activities near rivers and streams during the monsoon season, as sudden water level increases can pose significant dangers.
