CJP Founder Advocates for Youth Rights
Abhijit Dipke, the founder of the 'Cockroach People Party' (CJP), expressed his approval on Friday regarding RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's recent remarks supporting 'Gen Z' protesters. He urged Bhagwat to ensure that the BJP leadership and Prime Minister Narendra Modi cease labeling protesting students as anti-national. This statement followed Bhagwat's comments made a day earlier during a discussion with members of 'Gen Z' and 'Gen Alpha' at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), where he emphasized that young people have the right to protest on legitimate issues and should not be branded as anti-national.
In a conversation with a news agency, Dipke highlighted that Bhagwat's assertion—that 'Gen Z' protesters should not be labeled as anti-national—was a crucial point of the discussion. He stated, 'Mohan Bhagwat made a significant point yesterday, asserting that Gen Z should not be called anti-national. Their right to protest is valid, and their concerns are legitimate. I completely agree with this.' Referring to Bhagwat as a guiding figure for the BJP, Dipke urged him to convey this message to the party leadership.
Dipke remarked that since Bhagwat serves as a mentor to the BJP and is akin to a godfather for Narendra Modi, he hopes Bhagwat will relay the message to BJP leaders and Modi, urging them to stop branding these students and youth as anti-national. He further accused several BJP leaders of using derogatory language towards students during protests.
He pointed out that it is BJP members themselves who are calling them traitors. For instance, Dharmendra Pradhan referred to them as the 'B-team of terrorists,' while Nitin Naveen labeled them as a 'virus.' Dipke expressed hope that now they would heed Bhagwat's words and act accordingly, as it is unlikely that the BJP would go against the RSS. If they do, the RSS will need to consider that the BJP is disregarding Bhagwat's guidance.
