CJP's Stance on Government Communication
The spokesperson for the Cockroach People's Party (CJP), Saurav Das, stated on Thursday that he has not received any updates from the government regarding discussions. He expressed the party's willingness to meet at Jantar Mantar or any neutral location. Das mentioned to a news agency that Union Minister Jitendra Singh indicated that discussions could take place anywhere, prompting the party to suggest meeting at Jantar Mantar or a neutral venue like the Constitution Club of India. However, he noted that he has yet to receive any message from the government. He urged the government to directly contact the party to finalize the location, time, and duration of the talks. In response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement about establishing fast-track courts for those involved in the paper leak, Das dismissed such declarations as ineffective and accused the government of attempting to mislead the public.
Calls for Accountability and Resignation
Das emphasized that such announcements are futile and merely attempts to mislead the populace. He insisted on accountability and responsibility, stating that the party would not engage in discussions with anyone below the level of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan regarding this issue.
