Chirag Paswan Criticizes Opposition for Raising SIR Issue Amid Declining Support
Chirag Paswan Addresses Opposition's Concerns
On Friday, Union Minister Chirag Paswan expressed that the opposition is unnecessarily bringing up the Special Intensive Review (SIR) amidst their dwindling public support, indicating a significant discontent among the populace towards opposition parties.
Paswan attended the inauguration of a three-day food and beverage exhibition in Greater Noida, where he served as the chief guest. During a conversation with reporters, he noted that the comprehensive revision of voter lists, referred to as SIR, is not a new occurrence in the country.
He explained that similar initiatives have been undertaken in the past, with this instance being conducted online. Paswan emphasized that the opposition is making a fuss over SIR while their support continues to decline, leading to considerable frustration among the public towards these parties.
Furthermore, he criticized the opposition for using inappropriate language regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which he believes resulted in the public teaching them a lesson. He urged opposition parties to learn from the outcomes of the Bihar Assembly elections.
The food and beverage exhibition features participation from over 120 leading business establishments from various countries.
