Chhattisgarh Delegation Invited to World Expo 2025

A high-ranking delegation from Chhattisgarh, headed by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, has embarked on a journey to Japan and South Korea at the invitation of the Indian Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO). The main objective of this visit is to participate in the esteemed World Expo 2025 in Osaka, where Chhattisgarh aims to present its cultural heritage, innovative spirit, and future-oriented sectors on an international platform.


Chhattisgarh's Presence at Osaka

During their time in Osaka from August 25 to 26, the delegation will engage in the World Expo 2025, exploring various global pavilions and conducting targeted discussions to promote investment opportunities in Chhattisgarh. The state has set up its own pavilion within the Bharat Pavilion, showcasing its rich culture, innovative initiatives, and emerging industries. This participation, facilitated by ITPO, enhances Chhattisgarh's visibility within India's representation at the Expo.


Agenda in Japan and Korea

Prior to the Expo, the delegation will be in Tokyo from August 22 to 24 for investor engagement sessions and meetings with prominent Japanese industry figures, trade organizations, and investors. Following the Expo, the visit will wrap up in Seoul from August 27 to 29, featuring investor roundtables, sector-specific discussions, and interactions with leading Korean firms to explore collaborative opportunities.


A Pavilion Showcasing Development

The pavilion representing Chhattisgarh at the Bharat Pavilion has been crafted to highlight the state's identity and developmental journey, focusing on industrial advancement, renewable energy, information technology, and sustainable practices.
