In Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, law enforcement has successfully solved a gruesome murder case. A man was brutally killed, and it has been revealed that the perpetrator was none other than his mother-in-law. Frustrated with her son-in-law's behavior, she hired two contract killers, paying them one lakh rupees to carry out the deed. Currently, four individuals, including the accused mother-in-law, have been apprehended, and further investigations are ongoing.

To crack this murder case, police reviewed over 100 CCTV cameras. The incident occurred in the Sirgitti police jurisdiction, where a body was discovered in Kalika Nagar, Tifra. Efforts were made to conceal the identity of the victim, who was later identified as 24-year-old Sahil Kumar Patle from Mohanpur in the Janjgir Champa district. Authorities initially believed it to be a blind murder with no leads on the assailants.

The lead investigator, SP Rajnesh Singh, revealed that the victim had a drinking problem and often assaulted his wife, Varsha, while intoxicated. Upset by her husband's behavior, Varsha frequently confided in her mother, Sarojini Khunte. Tired of the repeated abuse, the mother-in-law decided to take drastic action and arranged for her son-in-law's murder for one lakh rupees.
How the Case Was Solved
An advance payment of 8,000 rupees was made to the hired killers before they executed the murder. The investigation team activated their informants and scrutinized over 100 CCTV footages. Once they gathered sufficient clues, they apprehended several suspects. After intense questioning, the entire narrative unfolded. The police arrested four individuals, including the widow Varsha Khunte (20) and her mother, Sarojini Khunte (38). During interrogation, the suspects confessed to their crimes. The Chakarbhatha police in Bilaspur have stated that further legal actions against the accused are underway.
