Chennai: After an impressive tenure of 17 years, Stephen Fleming is resigning from his position as head coach of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Reports indicate that the franchise is on the lookout for another foreign coach to fill his shoes. Fleming has recently accepted the role of head coach for England's Test cricket team.

CSK's Search for a New Coach

Kasi Viswanathan, the CEO of CSK, has stated that the search for a new coach is currently their top priority, with no immediate plans for player transfers. He mentioned, "Numerous renowned coaches have expressed interest and reached out to the management. We are in discussions with several candidates and aim to finalize our decision shortly."

Selection Process and Key Meetings

The selection process is being led by CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan and Team Director Rupa Gurunath. An official announcement regarding the new coach will follow meetings with Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and former captain MS Dhoni in the upcoming days. Potential Candidates for the Coaching Role

Currently, three prominent international figures are being considered as potential successors to Fleming.
