Chaos Erupts in Supreme Court as Litigant Loses Composure
Litigant Removed from Supreme Court Amid Outburst
New Delhi: A surprising incident unfolded in the Supreme Court on Friday when a self-represented litigant was forcibly ejected after he reportedly shouted insults and scattered his legal documents during a hearing related to his petition against an Allahabad High Court ruling.
The disruption took place in front of a bench led by Justices K V Viswanathan and Alok Aradhe.
The litigant began the session with an unusually aggressive demeanor.
He addressed the judges, stating, "Mr. judicial servant, I command you to register an FIR against the ACP of Lucknow," while dressed in a black coat without the customary lawyer's band.
Justice Viswanathan, taken aback, responded, "You are commanding us?"
The litigant then declared, "That concludes my remarks. Everything is documented," before unleashing a vulgar insult and tossing his case files into the air.
Security personnel quickly intervened, subdued him, and escorted him out of the courtroom, allowing the hearing to proceed.
As of now, no formal ruling regarding this incident has been issued in open court.
