Verse from Chanakya
श्लोक:
आपदार्थे धनं रक्षेच्छ्रीमतां कुत अापदः ।
कदाचिच्चलते लक्ष्मीःसंचितोऽपिविनश्यति
Meaning:
Chanakya advised that one should protect their wealth, as it serves as a safeguard during difficult times. However, when it comes to choosing between a woman and wealth, one should opt for the woman. With her values and morals, a woman plays a crucial role in protecting the family. Without a woman, religious duties are considered incomplete, and a household cannot thrive. Yet, when it comes to saving one's soul, one must transcend the attachments to both wealth and women, seeking a connection with the divine through spirituality.
