The 79th District-Level Himachal Day festivities will take place in Chamba, showcasing a vibrant celebration. Rajesh Dharmani, the Minister for Urban and Rural Planning, Housing, Technical Education, Vocational and Industrial Training, will preside over the event, as announced by Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal.


The celebrations will kick off at 11:00 AM on April 15 with a ceremonial flag hoisting. Attendees can expect a spectacular march past featuring contingents from the Himachal Pradesh Police, Home Guards, and students from various educational institutions.


Students from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, the Industrial Training Institute Chamba, DIET, and local schools will perform cultural acts. The chief guest will also honor officers and employees from various departments, along with representatives from institutions and organizations that have achieved excellence in their fields.


The Deputy Commissioner has encouraged all community members to join in large numbers for the district-level Himachal Day celebrations at the historic Chaugan ground.
