Central Minister Unveils Major Infrastructure Projects in Gwalior

Union Minister Scindia has announced two major infrastructure projects in Gwalior, including the Gwalior-Agra Greenfield Expressway and a western bypass to Shivpuri. With a combined investment of ₹7,000 crores, these initiatives aim to enhance connectivity and stimulate economic growth in the Gwalior-Chambal region. Inspection of Gwalior-Agra Expressway Project

Today, the Union Minister Scindia conducted an inspection of the Gwalior-Agra Expressway project and announced two significant developments for the region.




The first announcement involves the Gwalior-Agra Greenfield Expressway, which is currently under construction at a cost of ₹5,500 crores. This project aims to upgrade the existing two-lane road into a six-lane high-speed corridor.




Additionally, Scindia mentioned the development of a western bypass, approximately 28 kilometers long, to enhance connectivity to Shivpuri, with an estimated cost of ₹1,400 crores.




The Union Minister highlighted that the combined investment of around ₹7,000 crores for the high-speed corridor and the western bypass will significantly boost connectivity, economic activities, and overall development in the Gwalior-Chambal region.
