International Women's Day Celebrations Begin in Delhi


The celebration of International Women's Day commenced today in Delhi with great enthusiasm! A grand three-day event has been launched at Jawaharlal Nehru (JLN) Stadium, focusing on women's strength, fitness, and empowerment.


Organized by the Sports Authority of India (SAI) in collaboration with the Fit India Movement, this festival, themed 'Strong Women, Strong Nation,' will take place from March 7 to 9, 2026. The opening ceremony witnessed a large turnout of women, fitness enthusiasts, and celebrities.


The three-day event features a variety of activities, including:



  • Fitness sessions such as yoga, Zumba, and self-defense training

  • Wellness and leadership interactions

  • A cycling rally led by women

  • Cricket, fun fitness challenges, and other activity zones
