National Technology Day Celebration at CSIR-IHBT

On 28 May 2026, the CSIR–Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (IHBT) in Palampur will host a special event to celebrate National Technology Day, showcasing India's advancements in science and technology.

The event will feature the esteemed Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, and Vice President CSIR, Dr. Jitendra Singh, as the Chief Guest. Additionally, Dr. N. Kalaiselvi, Director General CSIR and Secretary DSIR, will attend as the Guest of Honour.

During his visit, Dr. Singh is expected to engage with the staff and students of the institute, deliver a keynote address, and officially open two new research laboratories along with a newly established research farm at IHBT.
