Celebrating International Women's Day in Jaipur: Empowerment and Education Take Center Stage

Key speakers, including Kanta Singh and Kashmira Singh, emphasized the importance of women's rights and education. The event featured sports competitions and saw participation from hundreds of attendees, showcasing a strong community spirit. This celebration aimed to inspire women to be aware of their rights and strive for progress in various fields.
 

International Women's Day Celebration in Jaipur

On Sunday, the Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Welfare Society in Jhalana Dungri, Jaipur, hosted a vibrant celebration for International Women's Day. The event featured Kanta Singh as the chief guest, alongside key contributors such as Lalita Valmiki, Vice President Pooja Verma, former President of Rajasthan University Kashmira Singh, and Secretary Preeti Maurya, a noted social worker. Other attendees included Ajay Dagar, Secretary, Ramniwas Dahiya, Joint Secretary, Dr. Tarun Bankoliya, President of the Universal Human Rights Council, Advocate Mahesh Kumar Verma, and several community leaders and advocates.


Kashmira Singh emphasized the importance of raising a strong voice against women's oppression and encouraged girls to become aware and advance in all fields. Former IG Jay Narayan Sher urged women to educate themselves to claim their rights. In her speech, Kanta Singh highlighted the need for women to remain vigilant about their rights as enshrined in Baba Saheb's Constitution and stressed the significance of women's education as a key to progress.


The celebration also included sports competitions, with Suman Mehra from Jaipur playing a pivotal role in organizing the events. Winners were awarded trophies and certificates. The event saw participation from hundreds of men and women, culminating in Ramniwas Dahiya expressing gratitude to all the guests for their presence.
