On Tuesday, Union Minister for Communications and Development of the Northeast Region, Jyotiraditya Scindia, inaugurated a special philatelic exhibition titled “Ek Bharat, Shreshth Bharat: Celebrating India’s Unity & Democracy through Postage Stamps” at the Prime Minister's Museum. This exhibition, organized by the postal department, showcases India's cultural, historical, and democratic journey through postage stamps.
Reflections of India's Civilization and Heritage in Postage Stamps
While observing the exhibition, the minister remarked that these stamps are powerful symbols of India's rich heritage, culture, and democratic values. The exhibition effectively illustrates India's historical journey and national identity through special postage stamps. During this visit, he also toured the philatelic museum located within the Prime Minister's Museum, gaining insights into the development of postal services and their contributions.

Scindia also observed a special exhibition dedicated to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He emphasized that the postal department has played a crucial role in nation-building and will continue to fulfill its responsibilities robustly in the upcoming Amrit Kaal over the next 22 years.
He called for the internalization of constitutional values and urged continuous commitment to service, inclusivity, and national unity, drawing inspiration from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
