Celebrating Independence Day with Fit India Sundays on Cycle
A Vibrant Celebration at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium
The vibrant colors of the Tiranga, accompanied by patriotic music, filled the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Sunday as the 86th edition of Fit India Sundays on Cycle continued the Independence Day festivities. This special event united personnel from the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), including the CRPF, SSB, ITBP, BSF, and Assam Rifles, along with young athletes and fitness advocates.
Participants engaged in a variety of activities, including a 2-km warm-up run and a 5-km cycling ride, alongside yoga, Zumba, fitness challenges, and performances of patriotic songs. A collective pledge was also taken to promote a Nasha Mukt Bharat, emphasizing the importance of avoiding substance abuse and fostering healthier lifestyles.
