Hindi Fortnight Celebration at Government Arya College

The Government Arya College in Nurpur, Himachal Pradesh, marked Hindi Day with vibrant celebrations during Hindi Fortnight, led by Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Thakur.

In his address, Dr. Thakur praised the students and highlighted the significance of promoting Hindi. He urged that the initiative to embrace Hindi should start at home, fostering a societal shift towards the language. He pointed out that Hindi serves as a unique medium that can weave the community together in harmony.

The event included a poetry recitation contest, along with cultural singing and dance performances, attracting enthusiastic participation from around 250 to 300 students. Professor Manjeet Singh also conveyed his best wishes and motivated students to stay dedicated to the Hindi language.

Dr. Diljeet Singh contributed to the program by discussing the political and scientific importance of Hindi, while Dr. Anil Kumar from the Hindi Department articulated that Hindi transcends being just a language; it embodies a lifestyle that enhances cultural values, traditions, and ideals.
