The life of Shri Prem Kumar Sahotra has been characterized by discipline, positivity, and a dedication to helping others. On January 13, 2026, this esteemed resident of Noorpur reached an impressive milestone—his 100th birthday.

As the proud patriarch of a large family, Sahotra resides in Ward No. 02 of Noorpur. He completed his early education at a local institution, encouraged by his elder brother, Shri Shambhu Das. He began his professional journey as a warehouse supervisor in Sarna, later serving in the Army Reserve before returning home to support his family.

With a strong desire to enhance his family's financial situation, he trained as a Patwari and later found work as a clerk. After retiring, motivated by the principles of the Congress party, Sahotra ventured into politics and was eventually appointed as a councilor in the Noorpur Committee.

Now, as he marks a century of life, Sahotra's children have also retired from government roles, while his grandchildren and great-grandchildren are thriving in their careers. Known for his joyful demeanor and optimistic perspective, he believes that genuine happiness stems from nurturing relationships and contributing positively to society.
