Celebrating 79th Independence Day at GCTE Dharamshala with Honor and Patriotism

The Government College of Teacher Education in Dharamshala celebrated the 79th Independence Day with enthusiasm, honoring ex-servicemen among its trainee teachers. The event featured heartfelt tributes and inspiring speeches, emphasizing the importance of patriotism and national service. Principal Prof. Aarti Verma led the ceremony, which included the sharing of experiences by honored veterans, enriching the understanding of duty and freedom among attendees. Independence Day Celebration at GCTE Dharamshala

Dharamshala — The Government College of Teacher Education (GCTE) in Dharamshala marked the 79th Independence Day with vibrant celebrations and a strong sense of patriotism. The event paid tribute to trainee teachers who are also former servicemen, acknowledging their unwavering commitment to the nation.


Among those recognized were Mr. Ankush, Mr. Bharat Bhushan, Mr. Kuldeep Kumar, Mr. Pankaj Kumar, Mr. Ravi Dutt Sharma, Mr. Sahil Sharma, and Mr. Sushil Panjla. Principal Prof. Aarti Verma, alongside both academic and non-academic staff, presented commemorative tokens to these veterans, honoring their sacrifices and contributions.
