CBSE Releases Evaluation Plan for Class 10 Exams in the Middle East

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced an evaluation plan for Class 10 exams that were canceled in the Middle East due to the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict. Evaluation Plan for Class 10 Exams

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has unveiled an evaluation strategy for the Class 10 examinations that were canceled in the Middle East. The exams were successfully conducted from February 17 to February 28 in several Middle Eastern countries, including Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. However, the exams scheduled after February 28 were canceled due to the Israel-Iran conflict.




Details of the Evaluation Plan Released by CBSE:


For students who participated in all examinations, results will be declared based on their performance. For those who attended four exams, results will be calculated based on the average scores of their best three subjects for which exams were not conducted.




Students who took three exams will have their results determined by the average scores of their best two subjects for which exams were not held.




Very few students participated in only two exams; their results will be based on the average scores of two subjects from the remaining ones.




Cancellation of Class 12 Exams by CBSE


CBSE has also canceled the Class 12 examinations in the Middle East. The method for announcing the results of these canceled exams will be communicated soon.




Expected Date for Class 10 Results in 2026


The results for the CBSE Class 10 exams are anticipated to be announced by May 11, 2026, which is 50 to 60 days after the exams conclude on March 11. Once declared, the results will be accessible on the official websites - cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in.




Historically, CBSE has released Class 10 results within two months of the exam dates. Last year, the exams ended on March 18, and results were declared on May 13, within 56 days. In 2024, the exams concluded on March 13, with results announced on May 13, exactly 60 days later.




Considering past trends, students can expect the CBSE Class 10 results for 2026 to be announced by May 11. The exams will conclude on March 11, and students can look forward to their results approximately 60 days later, on May 11, available on cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in.
