Major Changes at CBSE Amid Controversy

New Delhi: In a significant move, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has replaced its chairman, Rahul Singh, and Secretary, Himanshu Gupta, following allegations of irregularities linked to the digital evaluation system used for the Class 12 exams, according to official sources.

The board found itself in hot water after several Class 12 students claimed that the scanned versions of their answer sheets did not correspond with their actual handwriting, raising alarms about potential mismatches in the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system.

As a result of these concerns, the government has decided to transfer the top officials of CBSE.

Students and parents have voiced their worries regarding the execution of the OSM system during the board examinations.

The CBSE has been under fire for various issues, including technical failures, payment processing problems, and delays in the verification and re-evaluation of exam results.
