CBSE Dismisses Student's Claims Amid Re-evaluation Success Stories

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has dismissed allegations from a student regarding errors in the 12th-grade re-evaluation results, labeling them as false. In contrast, another student, Avni Kejriwal, achieved a perfect score of 100% after the re-evaluation, showcasing the positive outcomes of the process. This article explores the contrasting experiences of students involved in the re-evaluation, including the details of their claims and successes, as well as guidance on accessing the re-evaluation results.

CBSE Responds to Allegations of Re-evaluation Errors

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has firmly rejected allegations made by a student regarding discrepancies in the 12th-grade re-evaluation results. The board labeled the claims of student Vedant Srivastava as "factually incorrect and utterly false." In contrast, the re-evaluation process has significantly benefited another student from Ranchi, who achieved a perfect score of 100% after the re-evaluation.

Vedant Srivastava's Claims vs. CBSE's Findings

According to CBSE, Vedant Srivastava asserted that his revised mark sheet reflected only a two-mark increase, which the board disputed. They provided data indicating that his total marks actually increased by 11. The breakdown is as follows: Mathematics rose from 46 to 47 (an increase of 1 mark), Computer Science from 61 to 62 (1 mark increase), and Physics from 35 to 44 (a jump of 9 marks).

Vedant's Response to CBSE's Data

In response to CBSE's statement, Vedant questioned, "How can this be a blatant lie? The 9 marks increase in Physics did not occur after the re-evaluation portal opened. If the answer sheet for Physics was not mine, how could the marks on it belong to me?"

Re-evaluation Results Released

Reports indicate that CBSE has announced re-evaluation results for 99.7% of candidates who applied for mark verification. Previously, on June 21, results for 87% of candidates were released. Students can check their CBSE 12th re-evaluation results on the official website - results.digilocker.gov.in.

Avni Kejriwal: A Success Story

Avni Kejriwal from Ranchi achieved a remarkable feat by scoring a perfect 100% in the CBSE 12th examination after the re-evaluation results were announced on June 21. She secured full marks in all five subjects of the Commerce stream, totaling 500 marks. Prior to this, the top scorer had an overall percentage of 95.2.

Avni's Journey Post-Re-evaluation

After the re-evaluation, Avni expressed her surprise, stating, "We did not expect to achieve 500 marks, but everyone is thrilled. I lost 19 marks in English, which was unexpected as it is my favorite and strongest subject. Therefore, I applied for re-evaluation. I also lost 5 marks in Business Studies. Initially, I had already received 100/100 in three subjects, and now my score has increased by 24 marks."

Avni's Study Strategy

Discussing her approach to success, Avni mentioned that she focused on setting daily targets for different subjects. She stated, "If I set a goal to complete two or three topics in a day, I must achieve it, regardless of how many hours it takes."

Future Aspirations

As the daughter of Ranchi businessman Mitesh Kejriwal, Avni aspires to start her own business.

Advice for Fellow Students

Avni advised students to limit their time on social media to avoid distractions from their studies.
