CBSE Class 12 Results: Over 85% Pass Rate, Girls Outshine Boys Again!

The CBSE has announced the Class 12 exam results, revealing that over 85% of candidates passed, although the overall pass percentage has dropped compared to last year. Notably, girls excelled with a pass rate exceeding 88%, while boys achieved 82%. Additionally, over 94,000 students scored above 90%, and more than 17,000 secured over 95%. CBSE Class 12 Exam Results Announced


New Delhi: The results for the CBSE Class 12 examinations were released on Wednesday, revealing that over 85% of the candidates successfully passed this year.


However, the overall pass rate has seen a decline of more than three percentage points compared to the previous year.


According to Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj, while the pass rate exceeds 85%, more than 94,000 students achieved scores above 90%.


Additionally, over 17,000 candidates secured marks exceeding 95%, as reported by Bhardwaj.


He also noted that more than 1.63 lakh students have been categorized into the compartment category, reflecting an increase of nearly two percentage points from last year.


In a notable trend, girls have once again outperformed boys, achieving a pass percentage of over 88%, while boys recorded a pass rate of 82%.
