CBSE Announces Class 10 Board Exam Results


New Delhi: On Wednesday, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) revealed the results for the Class 10 board examinations, as confirmed by board officials.


A senior official stated, "The results have been declared."


This year marked the introduction of two editions of board exams for Class 10, with the results for the first edition now available.


In a notable trend, girls have once again outperformed boys in the CBSE Class 10 exams, achieving a pass rate of 93.70%.


In comparison, last year's overall pass percentage stood at 93.66%.


According to officials, 94.99% of female students successfully cleared the exam, surpassing the boys' pass percentage by 1.3 percentage points.


"A total of 55,368 students achieved scores above 95%, while 221,574 students scored over 90%," an official reported.


This year, over 1.47 lakh candidates have been categorized as 'compartment' students, a slight decrease from the previous year.


More than 24.71 lakh candidates participated in the exam, which was held across 8,074 centers.
