CBI Takes Over Investigation into Woman's Death in Madhya Pradesh
Investigation Handed to CBI
The Madhya Pradesh government has transferred the investigation into the death of a woman, allegedly caused by harassment from her in-laws, to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The 30-year-old woman, a resident of Noida, was discovered deceased on May 12 at her in-laws' residence in Bagh Mughalia Extension, Bhopal. Her family has accused her in-laws of murder, citing visible injuries on her body. They claim that she had previously reported instances of domestic violence by her husband.
Circumstances Surrounding Her Death
Following her death, several developments have emerged, including the disappearance of her husband, CCTV footage from just before her passing, and WhatsApp messages in which she expressed her distress regarding her in-laws' treatment. These factors have raised significant doubts about the circumstances surrounding her alleged suicide.
