Car Catches Fire on Noida Expressway, Driver Escapes Unharmed

Late Sunday night, a car caught fire under mysterious circumstances while traveling on the Noida Expressway in Gautam Buddh Nagar district. The driver managed to escape by jumping out of the moving vehicle, according to officials.

A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media.

Pradeep Kumar Chaubey, the chief fire officer, reported that Bhupendra, a resident of Maycha village, was en route from Greater Noida to Noida when the fire erupted in his car. He successfully leaped from the moving vehicle to save himself.

Upon receiving the alert, fire services arrived at the scene and extinguished the flames; however, the car was completely destroyed. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire. The incident caused temporary traffic disruptions on the expressway.
