Bundi's Development Initiatives Unveiled by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has inaugurated significant development projects in Bundi, including a town hall and road improvements, with an investment of ₹29 crore. He outlined ambitious plans to elevate Bundi as a key player in tourism, agriculture, and industry. Birla emphasized the importance of the Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Sanctuary in boosting environmental tourism and announced the upcoming Kota-Bundi Greenfield airport to enhance connectivity and attract investments. Additionally, he revealed plans for an agricultural technology fair to empower local farmers with modern techniques. This initiative marks a new chapter in Bundi's development journey.
 

Inauguration of Town Hall and Road Development Projects

On Thursday, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla inaugurated town hall and road development projects in Bundi, with a total investment of ₹29 crore. He also outlined plans to transform the district into a hub for tourism, agriculture, and industry.


Speaking at an event organized by the municipal council, Birla, who represents the Kota-Bundi constituency, stated that the new year marks the beginning of a new phase of development, where the results of various initiatives aimed at the overall progress of Bundi will become evident.


He emphasized that the government's goal is to position Bundi as a leader in development and establish it as a prominent tourist destination on both national and international levels. A comprehensive development plan has been crafted to meet public expectations, focusing on strengthening sectors such as tourism, agriculture, industry, and infrastructure.


Highlighting Bundi's tourism potential, Birla noted that the Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Sanctuary will give the district national recognition in environmental tourism. He mentioned that the upcoming Kota-Bundi 'Greenfield' airport will enhance transportation connectivity and promote industrial growth and tourism by attracting investments.


To empower farmers, he announced the organization of an agricultural technology fair aimed at providing training and information on modern agricultural techniques.
