On Sunday, security forces achieved a significant success at the international border in the Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. A Pakistani national attempting to infiltrate into Indian territory was repelled by the vigilant Border Security Force (BSF) personnel, who fired warning shots to deter him. According to officials, the BSF troops observed suspicious activity in the Bobiya area of the Hiranagar sector on Sunday evening. A Pakistani infiltrator was seen trying to advance towards the Indian border. The soldiers promptly issued a warning for him to halt.


Ignoring the BSF's warnings, the intruder continued to approach the border fence. Sensing the escalating situation, the alert soldiers fired warning shots. Upon hearing the gunfire, the intruder panicked and quickly retreated back towards the Pakistani side.
