Shocking Incident in Gurugram


In a chilling incident from the Sohna area of Gurugram, Haryana, a 65-year-old servant brutally murdered his 36-year-old employer. The servant, who had been working for the family for two decades, attacked his sleeping boss with a sharp weapon, seeking revenge for past grievances. The Gurugram Crime Branch's Sohna team swiftly apprehended the suspect within 24 hours, solving this shocking murder case.


The crime took place near the Harichandpur bus stop on Sohna-Ballabgarh Road. On the morning of April 6, 2026, police received a report about a body found inside a farmhouse. Upon arrival, officers identified the victim as Rahul, a 36-year-old resident of the Ghata village in Gurugram. He had stayed overnight at the farmhouse, and when his body was discovered, the servant, Khemchand, was missing, with his phone turned off, raising police suspicions.


A Disturbing End to Two Decades of Loyalty


The arrested suspect, Khemchand, hails from Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh. During interrogation, shocking details emerged. Khemchand had been employed by Rahul's family for 20 years but had left due to a dispute about a year and a half ago, only to return two months prior.


A Plot for Revenge


Khemchand revealed to the police that Rahul frequently mistreated him over trivial matters, which fueled his resentment. On the night of April 5, while Rahul was sound asleep, Khemchand seized a sharp weapon and struck Rahul's neck multiple times, resulting in instant death. After the murder, fearing capture, Khemchand fled to Delhi.


Police Success Within 24 Hours


The ACP Crime and Sohna police team utilized scientific evidence and informants to track down the suspect, ultimately arresting him in Delhi. The weapon used in the murder was also recovered based on Khemchand's guidance. A murder case has been filed against him, and he is being presented in court. This incident serves as a stark reminder that disputes and humiliation can destroy even the longest-standing relationships in an instant.
