A Heartwarming Tale of Generosity

In our world, we encounter both good and bad individuals. While it may seem that selfishness prevails, there are still those who embody selflessness. A touching incident from Andhra Pradesh highlights this, where a brother and sister returning from the USA have captured the admiration of many with their actions.

A Kind Gesture from 12 Years Ago

Twelve years prior, this brother-sister duo received free peanuts from a struggling vendor. Upon their return to India after a long stay in the USA, they sought out the vendor's family to offer financial assistance. This story dates back to 2010 when Nemani Pranav and Suchita visited the U Kothapalli beach in Andhra Pradesh with their father, Mohan. They craved peanuts but realized they had forgotten their wallet at home.

A Promise Made

The siblings explained their situation to the vendor, Sattayya, who generously offered them peanuts without asking for payment. They left with their father, who promised to repay the vendor later. To remember this promise, they even took a photo of Sattayya. However, due to their NRI status, they had to return to the USA shortly after and were unable to fulfill their promise.

The Search for the Peanut Vendor

Even after moving to America, the siblings remembered their commitment to repay Sattayya. Recently, they returned to India with the intention of settling their debt. Despite their efforts, they struggled to locate him. They then reached out to local MLA Chandrasekhar Reddy for assistance in finding Sattayya.

A Heartfelt Contribution

The MLA posted on Facebook to help locate Sattayya, but soon they learned that he had passed away. This news, shared by residents of Sattayya's ancestral village Nagulapalli, saddened Pranav and Suchita. They decided to visit the village and met with Sattayya's family, where they generously donated ₹25,000.
