British MP of Pakistani Descent Expelled from Parliament for Insulting India
Controversial Incident in Parliament
A British MP of Pakistani origin was forcibly removed from Parliament after making derogatory remarks about India. This MP has previously defended Pakistan in the context of Operation Sindoor and has been accused of promoting an agenda that claims Muslims are oppressed in Kashmir. However, the reality is that Hindus were the ones who faced displacement from Kashmir. Even today, Hindus can only undertake the Amarnath Yatra under military protection, while MPs like her propagate narratives of Muslim suffering in the region.
During the farmer protests in India, this British MP also spread misinformation. However, her actions caught up with her, leading to her public reprimand and removal from Parliament. The MP in question is Zara Sultana.
In Parliament, she accused Prime Minister Keir Starmer of being dishonest, which infuriated the Speaker, resulting in her being reprimanded and subsequently suspended.
Starmer had made certain promises in Parliament that he failed to fulfill, prompting Sultana's outburst. Currently, Muslims are considered a significant voting bloc in the UK, and there is a tendency to appease them. However, when it comes to disrespecting the Prime Minister, the UK Parliament took a firm stance. It's noteworthy that in Britain, despite the serious issues of sexual exploitation involving Pakistani individuals, no substantial action has been taken against them.
Yet, when it came to the Prime Minister's dignity, the Muslim MP was shown her place. This situation can be paralleled in India, where Muslims are also viewed as a voting bloc. Surprisingly, Indian leaders, whether radical or leftist, frequently criticize PM Modi, hurling insults and threats, claiming they will reveal their true intentions once he is out of power.
