Controversial Statements by BJP Leader

Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and former MP, has made a startling statement regarding alleged misuse and theft of donations at the renowned Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Speaking to reporters at his ancestral home in Vishnoharpur on Wednesday, he indicated that he possesses substantial knowledge about the matter but is currently unable to speak the truth.

His comments have sparked renewed discussions in political circles amidst ongoing controversies surrounding alleged misappropriation of donations for the Ram Temple. Singh remarked, 'I am a very weak man. If I tell the truth, I will face significant trouble because they are very powerful people. I do not have the courage to speak the truth right now. There will come a time when I will speak.'

He did not clarify whom he was referring to. Singh's remarks come at a time when the controversy over the alleged misappropriation of funds for the Ram Temple is intensifying.

After returning to his village following a ten-day stay in Delhi, Singh discussed his recent political and social experiences, mentioning that he has been dealing with several complex situations. Referring to the allegations made by female wrestlers in 2023, he stated that he has been managing the circumstances arising from that issue for a long time.

In defense of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan regarding alleged irregularities and paper leaks in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), Singh asserted that a minister's resignation would not resolve the problem. He pointed out that there is an organized system behind paper leaks involving officials and staff at various levels. He questioned whether a minister's resignation could guarantee that future paper leaks would be prevented.

Singh emphasized that a minister cannot personally oversee every examination center or arrangement. He believes that effective measures against such incidents can only be implemented if strict actions are taken against the guilty officials and staff. He noted that for the first time, strict actions against high-ranking officials are being observed, and he hopes that the current government will succeed in dismantling the networks associated with cheating and paper leaks.
