A Disturbing Wedding Night Incident

The wedding night was set for celebration when the bride arrived with a glass of milk. However, her mood quickly soured. In the middle of the night, she began to scream, prompting family members to rush to her aid. The bride was loudly claiming that her husband was impotent and declared she would not stay with him. By 3:30 AM, she had called her family to come over. Initial attempts at reconciliation took place at home, but the situation escalated to the police station.

This incident occurred in the Laxmipur village of the Kolhapur police jurisdiction. Aman, son of Rakesh Verma, had recently married Pooja, daughter of Dharmapal Verma from Surynagar. After the wedding, Aman brought Pooja home, and the music festivities continued until 11:30 PM. Around midnight, Pooja entered the couple's room and started causing a scene. She called her family, and by dawn, 20-22 relatives arrived at the in-laws' house, attempting to take her away.

Following the commotion, the police arrived and brought both parties to the station for mediation. Despite efforts to resolve the issue, no agreement was reached. Subsequently, Aman and Pooja's father, Dharmapal, submitted a written complaint to the police, stating that Pooja would return to her parental home with her jewelry. The police chief mentioned that the bride was sent back with her family after mutual consent, and any further complaints would be addressed as necessary.
