Bride Refuses to Marry After Groom Fails Basic Test
A Shocking Wedding Incident
Marriage is a significant decision in a woman's life, and she often strives to find the best partner who can blend well with her. However, in arranged marriages, couples sometimes do not get to know each other adequately, leading to surprises after the wedding. This can result in regret about the marriage.
Interestingly, some fortunate brides discover the groom's flaws or bad habits on the wedding day itself. This has led to numerous reports of brides refusing to take vows with their grooms, causing the wedding procession to turn back.
You may have heard stories where brides decline to marry due to reasons like the groom's tobacco use, arriving intoxicated, or displaying rude behavior. Today, we will share an old tale where a bride refused to marry because the groom couldn't count ten hundred-rupee notes.
This incident took place in the Pandal village of Madhubani district, Bihar. On the scheduled day, the groom arrived with his wedding party, and the guests were welcomed, followed by the exchange of garlands. However, during the ceremony, the bride's friends began to suspect the groom's education level after conversing with him.
The bride's friends handed the groom ten hundred-rupee notes and asked him to count them. Despite three attempts, he failed each time. When asked about the district's name, he incorrectly answered 'Pandal.' He continued to provide wrong answers to all questions. Upon witnessing this, the bride mustered the courage to refuse the marriage.
Many guests present praised the bride's decision. Following this, a guest from the groom's party offered his educated son as a potential match for the bride, to which her family agreed.
It's essential to thoroughly check the background of a potential partner before agreeing to marry. Often, individuals may provide misleading information about their education and job status while arranging a marriage.
