Incident in Bhogaon, Uttar Pradesh

A shocking incident has emerged from the Bhogaon police jurisdiction in Mainpuri district, Uttar Pradesh, where a bride reportedly eloped with her lover just 18 days after her wedding. The distressed husband has accused his wife of taking away valuable gold and silver jewelry worth lakhs of rupees. Frustrated by the lack of action from the authorities, he approached the police superintendent's office to file a complaint and demand an investigation.

Details of the Marriage and Elopement

Jitendra Kumar, a resident of Kuli Pur village, stated in his complaint that he married Achala from Kunwarpur Lodhpura in the Chhibramau area of Kannauj district on April 21, 2026. He alleges that prior to their marriage, Achala was in a romantic relationship with a local man named Arun Kumar, and they frequently communicated over the phone.

Jewelry Theft During Elopement

According to Jitendra, on the nights of May 8 and 9, his wife left their home with Arun Kumar, taking with her various pieces of jewelry, including a gold chain, ring, earrings, and silver anklets. He also mentioned that several of his sister Ruby's ornaments were missing.

Allegations Against Arun Kumar

Jitendra claims that Arun Kumar works in a private job in Noida and is currently hiding his wife at an undisclosed location. He further alleged that Arun's brothers, Arjesh and Neelu, along with his brother-in-law Santkumar, are complicit in this situation.

Police Inaction and Plea for Justice

The husband has also mentioned that he received an inappropriate photo of his wife with Arun, allegedly sent by a man named Soldier Yadav, who is said to be Arun's associate. Jitendra expressed his frustration with the Bhogaon police, claiming they refused to file a case and only registered a missing person's report. Consequently, he sought justice at the police superintendent's office.

He revealed that he had worked hard and borrowed money to fund the wedding, and the jewelry was painstakingly acquired. Following this incident, he feels utterly devastated, both financially and emotionally, and is demanding the recovery of his wife and the stolen jewelry, along with strict action against the accused.
