Official sources confirmed this on Tuesday, stating that the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will be responsible for Nabin's security through its specialized VIP security wing. This directive was issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs a few weeks ago when Nabin was announced as the new BJP national president.

Armed CRPF Commandos to Accompany Nabin

During his travels across the country, armed CRPF commandos will accompany him. His predecessor, J.P. Nadda, also received similar security arrangements from the government, managed by the CRPF's VIP security wing.

Understanding VIP Security Categories

The VIP security cover under the central security list ranges from the highest Z-plus (ASL) category to Z-plus, Z, Y, Y-plus, and X categories. Prominent figures such as Home Minister Amit Shah, the Gandhi family, and various other politicians and high-ranking officials are provided CRPF security, which encompasses around 200 VIPs.
