Government Formation Efforts Intensify

New Delhi. The BJP has achieved a significant victory in both Bengal and Assam, prompting swift actions towards forming the government. The party has appointed Union Home Minister Amit Shah as the central observer for Bengal, while Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda will oversee the selection of the legislative party leader in Assam.



In a strategic move, the BJP leadership has designated Amit Shah as the observer for West Bengal, with Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Chandra Majhi serving as the co-observer.


Meanwhile, JP Nadda has been appointed as the observer for Assam, with Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini as the co-observer.


The oath-taking ceremony for the new Chief Minister in Bengal is scheduled for May 9, as announced by the state BJP president. Speculations are rife regarding the Chief Ministerial candidate, with many believing that Suvendu Adhikari, who defeated Mamata Banerjee, could be the next CM. However, the final decision regarding the Chief Ministerial face remains uncertain and is expected to be made by Home Minister Amit Shah.
