BJP Responds to Rahul Gandhi's Criticism Over Military Operations

The BJP has responded to Rahul Gandhi's recent criticisms regarding military operations, particularly questioning the losses during Operation Sindoor. BJP leader Nalin Kohli expressed disappointment over Congress's stance, suggesting a lack of trust in the Indian government. Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde criticized Gandhi for prioritizing politics over patriotism, urging unity in support of the armed forces. Gandhi, in turn, has continued to demand transparency from the government, asserting that the nation deserves to know the truth about military losses. This ongoing political discourse highlights the tensions between the parties during sensitive times.

BJP's Counter to Rahul Gandhi's Tweets

In response to Rahul Gandhi's tweets, the BJP has launched a counterattack. BJP leader Nalin Kohli expressed disappointment, stating that it is unfortunate and regrettable that the Congress party, including its senior leadership, often overlooks the statements regarding the armed forces and instead chooses to raise questions. Kohli criticized Congress for demanding evidence and questioning surgical strikes, as well as raising doubts about the Balakot airstrike. Now, they are questioning Operation Sindoor.

Trust Issues Raised by BJP

Kohli further stated that it is up to Congress and Rahul Gandhi to decide whom they trust more. Do they believe the Indian government's statements, or do they side with claims made in Pakistan and pose similar questions to the Indian government? This raises the question of where they stand and what they hope to achieve by asking such questions. Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde added that during times of war, the entire nation unites to support the armed forces.

Concerns Over Political Motivations

Shinde remarked that it seems Rahul Gandhi is more interested in politics than patriotism. While the nation stands united with the armed forces, individuals like Rahul Gandhi are undermining their morale. He emphasized the need to prioritize national interests over political agendas, especially when the opposition should be coming together. Congress's stance in this situation is indeed unfortunate.

Rahul Gandhi's Continued Critique

Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had once again questioned External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar in the Lok Sabha, alleging silence on how many aircraft were lost during Operation Sindoor. He asserted that the nation has the right to know the truth. On social media, he stated, "Jaishankar's silence is not just rhetoric; it is disgraceful. Therefore, I will ask again: How many Indian aircraft did we lose because Pakistan was aware? This was not a mistake; it was a crime. The country deserves to know the truth."
