BJP's Strong Accusations Against Rahul Gandhi
On Saturday, Sudhanshu Trivedi, a Member of Parliament from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), launched a fierce attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, labeling him as notorious for promoting anti-national propaganda. During a press conference in the capital, Trivedi stated, "The opposition leader, known for his anti-national rhetoric, has reportedly embarked on a trip to Vietnam. However, he is likely to be seen either meeting with individuals who oppose India or making statements against the country."
Trivedi further questioned why Rahul Gandhi continues to receive invitations from abroad, despite having no significant connection with states governed by his party in India. He expressed his desire to know who these individuals are that keep contacting Rahul Gandhi, especially when no chief minister from Congress-ruled states or even any school or university has reached out to him.
Meanwhile, Haryana's Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda also criticized Rahul Gandhi, asserting that Congress members would not heed the words of someone who collaborates with "anti-national forces." Speaking to a news outlet, Dhanda remarked, "He (Rahul Gandhi) comes to tell his party members things that the people of Haryana or Congress workers absolutely do not want to hear. No Congress leader can claim that Rahul Gandhi is incorrect. A person who colludes with anti-national elements, travels abroad, and reads scripts provided by them to insult India or participates in tea parties with such individuals—Congress members will not listen to someone like that."
Additionally, BJP leader Gaurav Vallabh suggested that an investigation should be initiated into Rahul Gandhi's foreign trips, which he claims encourage foreign leaders to interfere in Indian affairs. He referenced a letter from New York Mayor Joran Mamdani concerning Umar Khalid.
