BJP Member Condemns Congress Leader's Remarks on Operation Sindoor
Strong Reactions to Controversial Comments
Sadineni Yamini Sharma, a member of the National Council of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has expressed strong disapproval of recent remarks made by senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Prithviraj Chavan, regarding Operation Sindoor. She has called for an apology from the Congress party for his statements.
In response to Chavan's comments about India's defeat on the first day of Operation Sindoor, Sharma stated, "These remarks not only disrespect Operation Sindoor but also insult the Indian Army, national security, and the women who lost their husbands to religious terrorism."
Accusations Against the Opposition
Speaking to a news agency, Sharma accused the opposition of failing to grasp the significance of Operation Sindoor, belittling the soldiers, and deliberately undermining their morale. She emphasized the tragic events in Pahalgam, where over 29 Hindu men were brutally murdered based on their religion. Following this horrific act, the Indian Army, under the decisive leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, launched Operation Sindoor, sending a clear and strong message against terrorism by taking decisive action against enemy positions.
Support for Government and Armed Forces
Expressing her support for the Indian government and armed forces, Sharma remarked, "In such delicate moments, opposition leaders should stand united with the central government and the armed forces. Instead, they repeatedly mock the Indian Army, disrespect it, and question its heroic actions during Operation Sindoor."
