BJP's Allegations Against the DMK Government
Central Minister Piyush Goyal, along with Tamil Nadu BJP President Nainar Nagendran, has released a set of allegations against the DMK government in anticipation of the upcoming Tamil Nadu assembly elections. Other BJP leaders, including Tamilisai Soundararajan and K. Annamalai, were also present at the event. Goyal emphasized that this election marks a pivotal moment in Tamil Nadu's history, aiming to expose the DMK, Congress, and their allies, whom he described as part of a corrupt UPA coalition that has led to one of the worst administrations in the state.
Goyal criticized the current government, stating it is dominated by a single family, including Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, accusing them of exploiting Tamil Nadu and tarnishing its reputation both nationally and internationally. He expressed pride in Tamil culture, the people of Tamil Nadu, and the state's potential for development across all societal sectors, asserting that under the leadership of EPS and with the guidance of Prime Minister Modi, they could restore Tamil pride, language, literature, and good governance that the people have longed for over the past five years.
The BJP leader conveyed that he was there to share the collective pain of 80 million Tamils. He stated that they are issuing this set of allegations against the corrupt and irresponsible government led by M.K. Stalin and Udhayanidhi Stalin. Each word in this document is based on facts that the DMK and Congress cannot deny. They cannot turn away from the truth or escape the anger of the Tamil people. This father-son government has committed crimes against every segment of Tamil society, including women, children, Dalits, and Hindus, and has also neglected the youth and farmers of Tamil Nadu.
Expressing confidence in the NDA's victory, Goyal promised a return to the governance style of the late J. Jayalalithaa. He stated that the strong NDA coalition has initiated a campaign to defeat the corrupt DMK government and remove it from power. The DMK-Congress alliance is responsible for high-level corruption, poor law and order, and betrayal of Tamil Nadu's farmers, fishermen, youth, and women. The people of Tamil Nadu are fed up with this corrupt government and desire a governance model similar to that of 'Amma' (Jayalalithaa). This election will determine the future of the people of Tamil Nadu. The EPS-led NDA coalition is poised for victory and aims to restore good governance. We are all working together as one family to ensure that the people of Tamil Nadu witness the return of effective governance. The citizens here are yearning for change.
