BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal initiated the criticism, claiming that residents of Himachal Pradesh are suffering under the weight of inflation, rising taxes, and administrative failures. He highlighted the hikes in electricity and water tariffs, increased HRTC bus fares, and the escalating costs of essential goods through the public distribution system, labeling these as signs of 'anti-people governance.' Bindal argued that instead of alleviating financial burdens, the government has opted to impose additional strain on its citizens. He further accused the administration of fostering nepotism and favoritism, describing it as a 'mafia raj,' and claimed that key demographics, including youth, farmers, employees, and women, are being neglected. He criticized Rahul Gandhi's much-discussed 'Thak-Thak model,' asserting it has 'completely failed' in Himachal Pradesh, with many electoral promises remaining unfulfilled. Former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur also voiced strong criticisms, accusing the government of misleading the public under the guise of 'system change.' He characterized the current administration as one marked by increased taxation, rising debt, and corruption protection. Thakur claimed that governance is being swayed by a close-knit group of associates, with decisions favoring a select few rather than the general populace. He raised alarms about the deterioration of welfare programs like Himcare and Sahara, which previously supported vulnerable groups but are now being undermined. He further alleged that corruption has reached unprecedented levels, with the government failing to take decisive action and instead attempting to deflect or suppress issues.

During the meeting, BJP MP Dr. Rajeev Bhardwaj and State Secretary Priyanka Sharma expressed robust support for the national political resolution presented and underscored the central government's role in facilitating development in Himachal Pradesh. Dr. Bhardwaj mentioned the ₹3,920 crore assistance provided under the 'Pride of Hills' initiative, calling it a significant boost for the state's growth and a testament to the Centre's commitment to hill states. Priyanka Sharma highlighted that the BJP's policies are founded on inclusive development principles, asserting that the party continues to earn public trust due to its governance model.

Former Union Minister Anurag Thakur, while discussing the national political landscape, emphasized what he referred to as a 'golden decade of development' under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He pointed to flagship initiatives such as Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, and Digital India as transformative programs that have enhanced the quality of life for millions. Thakur also noted India's rising global stature, stable economic performance, and infrastructure expansion as significant achievements of the central government, contrasting this with what he described as the Congress party's focus on appeasement and inconsistent policies.
