In a bold statement ahead of the 2026 Kerala assembly elections, BJP leader Rajeev Chandrasekhar predicts a major political transformation. He believes that the election will culminate in a two-party system, with the NDA and a coalition of Congress and CPI(M) as the only remaining fronts. As the election date approaches, the political landscape in Kerala is set for a significant shift, with results expected on May 4.

Rajeev Chandrasekhar's Bold Prediction for Kerala's Political Future

As Kerala gears up for the 2026 assembly elections, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the state president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and candidate from the Nemom constituency, has made a significant prediction regarding the state's political future. Speaking to reporters on Friday, Chandrasekhar asserted that this election will mark the final showdown among "three political fronts" in Kerala's history.

Chandrasekhar, contesting from the Nemom assembly seat, expressed his belief that post-election, only two political alliances will remain in the state. He stated, “On one side will be the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), and on the other will be the coalition of Congress and the Communist Party of India (Marxist), which is present in 27 states and eight union territories. This arrangement will also be established here.”

He further claimed that there is no real distinction between Congress and CPI(M). “Their politics, ideologies, and track records are identical. Kerala is now moving towards a bipolar political system, with one pole being the NDA led by the BJP,” he added. Regarding the electoral outcomes, he mentioned, “We have worked to earn the trust of voters in all 140 constituencies. Now, it is up to the public to decide, and the results will be revealed on May 4.”

Chandrasekhar noted that a high voter turnout reflects the increasing awareness among the populace and their active participation concerning their future.
