BJP Criticizes Congress for Prioritizing Politics Over Students' Future

He criticized Congress for creating unnecessary controversies and highlighted the indifference shown by opposition leaders towards students' needs. BJP's Strong Critique of Congress
On Monday, Sudhanshu Trivedi, the national spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and a member of the Rajya Sabha, launched a sharp critique against the Congress party, accusing it of prioritizing political agendas over the future of students. Speaking at a press conference at the party headquarters in New Delhi, Trivedi claimed that the opposition is attempting to create controversy around the NEET-UG examination for political gain. He criticized Congress for its actions, stating that their political maneuvers have frequently disrupted students' academic schedules. Referring to recent reports of students facing difficulties reaching exam centers due to political events in various parts of the country, he expressed concern that Congress seems to value political rallies and theatrics more than the careers of millions of students. He emphasized that the party shows no genuine concern for the youth, focusing instead on turning academic issues into political spectacles.
Targeting Rahul Gandhi
Trivedi specifically targeted opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of engaging in distractions rather than addressing real systemic issues. He noted that while Rahul Gandhi was busy with political campaigning in Kota just days before the exams, the state governments led by his party displayed complete indifference towards ensuring smooth travel for students during the examination period. Comparing the opposition's attitude with that of the central government, the BJP MP highlighted the sensitivity shown by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He provided an example of Modi waiting for 45 minutes at the Delhi airport after returning from an official trip to Kolkata, to avoid causing traffic issues for students heading to NEET exam centers due to his security convoy.
A Fundamental Difference in Approach
Trivedi pointed out the fundamental difference in mindset between the two parties. On one hand, there is a Prime Minister who is so aware of students' needs that he avoids any activities that might cause them inconvenience. On the other hand, he noted that Congress continues to prioritize enhancing its political image over the stress faced by students preparing for exams. Reiterating the central government's stance, Trivedi asserted that the NDA government is fully committed to maintaining the integrity of competitive examinations. He mentioned that the government has already taken swift action, including canceling exams suspected of irregularities and assigning investigations to the CBI to ensure complete transparency.
