BJP Condemns Rahul Gandhi's Remarks Against PM Modi
BJP Responds to Rahul Gandhi's Comments
On Wednesday, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched a strong critique of Rahul Gandhi's remarks directed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asserting that the Congress leader's words reflect his chaotic mindset and character. BJP President Nitin Nabin stated that Gandhi's comments are an affront to the 1.4 billion citizens of India, demanding an apology from him. This incident occurred during a program in Gandhi's Lok Sabha constituency of Raebareli, where he labeled Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah as "traitors" over various issues.
Nabin sharply reacted to Gandhi's statements, emphasizing that such remarks clearly illustrate his disordered mentality and character. He suggested that these comments stem from Gandhi's frustration and despair following his party's electoral defeats. The BJP leader further remarked that it seems Gandhi is losing his mental balance, describing his comments as unfortunate and disrespectful to the nation's populace.
Nabin questioned how one could use such language against a person who has curtailed terrorist activities, ended Naxalism, and enhanced respect for the national flag. He insisted that Rahul should apologize to the people of India. BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari shared a video of Gandhi, where the Congress leader allegedly urged attendees at a public meeting to inform members of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) that Modi and Shah are "traitors" who have sold the country and attacked the Constitution and national symbols.
In the video, Gandhi is heard urging people to stand up and fight back. He instructed that when RSS workers come to their homes discussing Modi and Shah, they should tell them that their organization, along with Modi and Shah, are traitors who have attempted to sell the nation and have attacked the Constitution, Dr. Ambedkar, and Mahatma Gandhi. In a post on X, Bhandari claimed that Gandhi's comments reflect the mindset of urban Naxals and accused the opposition leader of acting against the interests of the country.
Bhandari asserted that Gandhi has labeled 1.4 billion Indians as traitors, indicating that he is under the influence of anti-India forces. He further alleged that Gandhi is upset because under Modi's leadership, "India is united" and accused him of targeting the Indian state.
