BJP's Response to By-Election Outcomes

New Delhi, August 3 - Nitin Naveen, the national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), acknowledged the results of the three assembly by-elections announced on Monday. He stated that the party will conduct a thorough introspection regarding the outcomes in Bihar's Bankipur and Madhya Pradesh's Datia seats. Naveen emphasized that the BJP will work with renewed enthusiasm to strengthen the trust of the public.

The BJP faced defeats in the assembly by-elections for the Bankipur seat in Bihar and the Datia seat in Madhya Pradesh. Prashant Kishor, the founder of the Jan Suraj Party, emerged victorious in the Bankipur constituency, which became vacant after Naveen resigned from his legislative position to take on national responsibilities, prompting the by-election.

In a post on 'X', Naveen stated that the party accepts the mandate received in the by-elections for the three assembly seats. He remarked, “We will seriously reflect on the election results in both regions and will continue to work tirelessly with renewed enthusiasm and determination to strengthen the trust of the people.” The BJP president also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the voters of Gujarat's Manjalpur assembly seat for their confidence in the party and congratulated all dedicated workers and officials for this victory.
