Bihar's Shubham Kumar Achieves Perfect Score in JEE Main 2026
Shubham Kumar: A Remarkable Achievement
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results for JEE Main 2026 Session 2, where Shubham Kumar from Bihar has showcased his exceptional talent. He is among the 26 students nationwide who achieved a perfect score of 100 percentile. Notably, Shubham is the only student from Bihar to have secured 100 percentile in both Session 1 and Session 2, bringing immense joy to his family.
Shubham hails from Nadaraganj in Gaya district and comes from a humble background. His father, Shivkumar, runs a hardware store, while his mother, Kanchan Devi, is a homemaker. Shubham has had a passion for studies since childhood, inspired by his elder sister, Priya Kumari, who is currently pursuing her B.Tech at IIT Patna. He completed his 10th grade at Nazareth Academy and his 12th at British English School in Gaya, managing to succeed without any tutoring until his matriculation. To fulfill his engineering aspirations, he moved to Kota, Rajasthan, for JEE preparation after finishing school.
With his remarkable performance in one of the toughest exams in the country, Shubham's next goal is to excel in JEE Advanced. He aims to pursue a B.Tech in Computer Science at IIT Bombay, a department that has always been a top choice for high achievers. Shubham aspires to be part of this prestigious institution and make his state proud.
