He likened the current situation to historical plunder, accusing the RSS and VHP of exploiting the temple's name for personal gain. Meanwhile, Akhilesh Yadav has joined the fray, alleging that the BJP is attempting to suppress emerging details about the donation irregularities. This unfolding political drama raises questions about accountability and transparency in governance.

Bhupesh Baghel's Strong Remarks on Ram Temple Fund Issues

Former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Bhupesh Baghel, has expressed his discontent with the central government regarding the recent controversy surrounding donations for the Ram Temple. He accused the government of exploiting the name of Lord Ram to deceive the public. In a conversation with reporters, the senior Congress leader drew a parallel between the current government and Mahmud of Ghazni, stating that while the invader plundered the Somnath Temple, the RSS and VHP are currently robbing the Ram Temple.

Baghel highlighted the dire situation in schools, which are operating without uniforms, teachers, toilets, or drinking water, claiming that they are jeopardizing the future of children. He further stated, "The government is playing a cruel joke on farmers... Everyone in the state is engaged in looting. Mahmud of Ghazni looted the Somnath Temple, but now the RSS, VHP, and Bajrang Dal are plundering the Ram Temple. They are all creating chaos in the name of Ram."

He also addressed the challenges faced by farmers, mentioning the issues of fake fertilizers, adverse weather conditions, and the ongoing crisis related to diesel and petrol prices. Baghel pointed out that farming has become increasingly expensive, with fertilizers also rising in cost. On Tuesday, Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav launched a scathing attack on the BJP regarding alleged irregularities in the Ram Temple donation fund. He claimed that as more information emerges, attempts to suppress the issue may intensify.

Yadav posted on 'X' stating that another layer of the issue has been revealed. He warned that if the layers of 'serious crimes' committed by BJP members and their associates continue to unfold, the focus will shift from 'investigation' to 'suppressing' the matter more rapidly. He referenced a media report on 'X' that highlighted new alleged revelations in the Ram Temple donation case, involving a group claiming that their donations have gone missing.
